The Can-Lite Silencer is an absorption silencer. It reduces noise in the middle range, which is most clearly perceptible to the human ear. The device effectively dampens airborne noise in the pipe system. It can be mounted in front of or behind the fan and is made of galvanized sheet metal, which effectively reduces noise when operating the system in ventilation ducts.
