Efficiency is not just a number on a data sheet
With the EVO series, Sanlight naturally offers an advanced efficiency of more than 3 µmol/J at module level. During development, however, much more attention was paid to the yield per time and area. In empirical tests with countless plants, the spectrum was optimised as far as possible. The resulting broadband light spectrum goes beyond the conventional PAR range and offers a Far Red-Red ratio that positively influences photomorphogenesis and thus both the quality and quantity of the harvest.
Protection and light control
When developing the EVO series, Sanlight's protection and light control secondary optics were optimised for the geometric dimensions of the luminaire. This results in incredibly homogeneous illumination with the best light intensity (PPFD). The asymmetrical secondary optics minimise losses during photon transport to the plants and protect the LEDs from the environmental influences to which the luminaire is exposed during plant production. Sulphur and other chemicals cannot penetrate the LED. This prevents oxidation of the LED chip reflector. The optics are easy to clean. The protection and cleaning option guarantees constant light output for many years.
Best technology
Sanlight has selected only the best LEDs for you from the almost unmanageable range on the market. As in previous years, the latest OSRAM High Power LEDs were chosen for the red and far-red LEDs. For the white LEDs, the patented WICOP technology from Seoul Semiconductor has prevailed. The LEDs with this technology are characterised by the absence of lead frames. Silver is characterised by its exceptional robustness and optimum efficiency.
Ready for dimming
All models in the EVO series are "dimming ready". This means that the luminaire is compatible with typical greenhouse technology control systems. Alternatively, you can also retrofit the light with a magnetic or Bluetooth dimmer. Compared to rotary potentiometers, their solutions are wear-resistant and are not damaged by moisture or water.
Professionalism starts with the cable
All connectors in the EVO series are made from high-quality, waterproof connectors that have proven themselves in commercial horticulture over the last few decades. All accessories offered by Sanlight are designed for the harsh greenhouse environment. This allows you to easily and safely configure, darken or connect your system into a "chain", just as you wish.
Maximisation
Even if our lamps appear to hang a little higher at first glance, in practice they can save a lot of height. In most growing rooms, filters and ventilation systems are installed on the ceiling. With the EVO range, all the necessary equipment can be placed between the lights without losing a centimetre of usable height. Lighting systems from other manufacturers are designed to be installed under the ventilation system. This wastes considerably more space. This applies to small marquees, but also to large professional installations.

Cleaning:
The EVO lamp optics should be cleaned with distilled water - using a soft, non-abrasive cloth. The mounting rails and heat sinks should be cleaned with clear water - using a soft, non-abrasive cloth. If they are very dirty, use mild soapy water. The mains cable plug and the dimmer should be fitted with a protective cap before cleaning to ensure IP65 water protection and to prevent damage to the luminaire by water during cleaning.
